Corporate Executive coaching

Coaching of individuals or groups to improve corporate performance.

Key Benefits

Effective decision making: High performance groups are focussed on results

Accelerated Change: Coaching accelerates positive group dynamics

Foster Collaboration: effective groups avoid dysfunctional behaviour and promote individual growth

Fixed price: once the objectives and scope have been agreed the coaching programme can be implemented for a fixed price.

Without a coaching programme groups may fail to make the step change necessary to fulfil their obligations and can get stuck or develop dysfunctional behaviours.

Why Corporate Executive Coaching?

Organisations often need to improve the performance of groups of executives. Examples include:

-Newly promoted managers

-Newly formed teams

-Teams in need of regeneration

-Teams with new challenges

As well as the challenges experienced by an individual, the team in need of coaching will be faced by challenges caused by the dynamics of groups:

-need for group cohesion and a shared vision

-Need for group rather than individual responsibility

-Increasing awareness of group behaviours by members

-Remove barriers to collaboration

How does it work?

A corporate coaching programme is usually based at the organisations premises and will be designed to meet the needs of each organisation. The coaching programme will follow the same general style as individual coaching, but time and structure will be varied to reflect the challenges presented.

A corporate coaching programme will start with a session with sponsors to agree objectives and scope.

All programmes will include the following common elements:

-Balance of individual and group coaching

-Key skills Training to include: facilitation, chairmanship, presenting and group awareness.

-Group and individual styles: Selling; presenting, debating, coaching,

-Listening skills: active listening, bracketing, describing, horizontalization

-Group and individual behaviour skills & styles: proposing, building, chairing, conflict, questioning.
